Endocervical polyp represents as a benign, exophytic lesion constituted of variable admixture proliferating endocervical glandular epithelium and metaplastic squamous permeated with fibro-vascular core. The commonly encountered is frequently accompanied by chronic inflammation, erosion superficial epithelial surface reactive alterations layering epithelium.
